Clark County coroner identifies man in Excalibur shooting
The man who shot himself after shooting a woman Friday night in the Excalibur lobby has been identified by the Clark County coroner's office.
Edward Brandt, 31, of Lake Forest, Ill., died at the scene from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, according to the coroner's office.
About 8:30 p.m., Brandt shot Jessica Corinne Kenny, 30, of Las Vegas, multiple times to her head and chest, Las Vegas police said. She died two hours later at University Medical Center.
Kenny worked at the Strip resort as a concierge.
Police said there was a relationship between Brandt and Kenny, but have not confirmed what that relationship was.
