Coroner identifies woman stabbed to death

The Clark County coroner on Monday identified the woman stabbed to death Saturday in North Las Vegas as Rosaura Banuet, 44.

North Las Vegas police are still looking for Banuet's husband, Alberto Gutierrez, 47, to question him in connection with the death.

Police found Banuet suffering from multiple stab wounds after being called to a house in the 5100 block of Blue Rose Street about 11 a.m. Saturday. The woman was taken to University Medical Center, where she died.

Gutierrez left on foot, wearing a blue T-shirt, black shorts and sandals, according to police who described him as Hispanic, 6 feet 1 inches tall, and 225 pounds. He has a tattoo of a naked woman on his right arm.
