Fire at northeast valley complex damages six apartments

A fire Wednesday night at a northeast valley apartment complex displaced more than 15 people and caused $225,000 worth of damage, Clark County officials said.

The blaze began about 7:25 p.m. at 5225 E. Charleston Blvd., near Nellis Boulevard.

Six apartments in the Antigua Bay complex were damaged, displacing five families.

The fire was caused by an exhaust fan in the bathroom of a vacant apartment..
