Five arrested for breaking into Nevada correctional center

SILVER SPRINGS — Lyon County sheriff’s deputies have arrested five suspects in a break-in at the Women’s Conservation Camp in Silver Springs.
KRNV-TV reported that three of them barricaded themselves in the attic of an old housing unit at the correctional facility when officers responded to the incident about 2:20 a.m. on Tuesday. A SWAT team was called in and all five suspects were apprehended within about two hours.
Kenneth Curts, Michael Korte, Brandon Quinonez and a juvenile were charged with burglary, malicious destruction of property and possession of burglary tools. The three adults were being held in Lyon County jail with bail set at $54,000.
The fifth suspect, Terry Barrick, was charged with possession of burglary tools and being an accessory to burglary. Her bail is set at $27,500.
