Former first-grade teacher sentenced in boy’s maiming
A former Las Vegas first-grade teacher was sentenced Wednesday to six to 15 years in prison after a bus stop crash in February left a 15-year-old boy without a leg.
Noel Lardeo, 26, pleaded guilty in September to felony drunken driving. Court officials said she will get credit for 304 days already served.
The teen, Conan Obenchain, testified he doesn't remember the Feb. 5 crash .
Prosecutors said Lardeo was drunk when her 2005 Acura slammed into the bench where the teen was sitting.
