Girl, 7, dies from car crash injuries

A 7-year-old girl from Mexico died Friday of injuries from a Wednesday traffic accident at Boulder Highway and Harmon Avenue.

The Clark County coroner's office said the girl, Mythriel de Galadriel-Reitz of Veracruz, Mexico, died at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center of blunt force injuries from the accident.

Police said the car that Galadriel-Reitz was traveling in rear-ended a truck that was stopped at a red light. Four others in the car were seriously injured. Others in the truck suffered minor injuries.
