Henderson motorcyclist killed in accident identified
The Clark County coroner's office has identified the motorcyclist who died Saturday after colliding with a city of Henderson pickup as David Doss, 21, of Henderson.
Police said Doss was riding his Suzuki GSXR 600 motorcycle south on Whitney Ranch Drive about 3:50 p.m. when he collided with a Ford F-150 driven by city employee Danielle Havis as she turned left onto Whitney Ranch from Plain Sight Avenue, south of Patrick Lane.
Doss, who witnesses say was travelling at a high speed and was wearing a helmet, was thrown into the truck's windshield.
He died at about 11:50 p.m. Saturday. Havis suffered minor injuries in the crash.
