Judge lets Clark County DA continue opposing O.J. Simpson appeal

A Nevada judge says the Clark County district attorney's office can continue to fight O.J. Simpson's latest bid for release from state prison.

Clark County District Court Judge Kathleen Delaney said Tuesday she doesn't believe District Attorney Steve Wolfson would benefit from the outcome of a claim that Simpson's lawyers did a bad job at trial in 2008.

Wolfson became DA this year. He's married to former Clark County District Judge Jackie Glass.

Glass presided over the Simpson trial before resigning to star in a syndicated TV show called "Swift Justice with Jackie Glass."

Simpson lawyer Patricia Palm says she'll appeal to the state Supreme Court.

Palm claims Wolfson has a financial and emotional interest in opposing allegations that Glass was biased and made improper rulings in Simpson's case.
