Las Vegas police are looking for a "person of interest" who possibly was involved in a double shooting that left one woman dead and another wounded in the eastern valley late Friday night.
Robert Brown Jr., 42, was involved in a "dating relationship" with the woman who was killed, police said Saturday.
The domestic dispute, first reported about 10:15 p.m. Friday, occurred inside an apartment in the 5400 block of East Harmon Avenue, near Boulder Highway.
Police received reports of gunfire in the apartment. When they arrived, they found the apartment's front window broken, and two women suffering from gunshot wounds. One of them died at the scene, and the other, described as older, was transported to a hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
Police also found a juvenile inside the home who was not injured.
The Clark County coroner's office will identify the victims and provide a cause of death, police said. The two victims and the juvenile were not identified Saturday night.
Brown is described as white, 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 170 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
He was believed to be driving a red 2006 Nissan Pathfinder with Nevada license plate ARIYL.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact the Police Department's Homicide Section at 702-828-3521 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
