Las Vegas police release descriptions of suspects in bus stop slaying

Las Vegas police have released descriptions of two teenagers suspected in the killing of a 16-year-old girl at a central valley bus stop Sunday night.

Police said the suspects are two black males between the ages of 15 and 17, standing between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall. One of the suspects wore his hair in "corn rows," police said.

Both suspects wore dark, hooded sweatshirts and were wearing light-colored shorts, police said.

They were last seen running south on 28th Street near Cedar Avenue.

Randii Morrow, 16, died at University Medical Center shortly after the 10:15 p.m. shooting at 2730 E. Bonanza Road, east of Eastern Avenue.

Her boyfriend, an unidentified 19-year-old man, was shot at but not hurt.

Police said Morrow and her boyfriend probably were targeted and the shooting might have been gang-related.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
