A 26-year-old Las Vegas woman has been sentenced to federal probation including 10 months of home confinement for a bomb threat against a Phoenix-bound aircraft her boyfriend had boarded.
U.S. District Judge Kent Dawson on Wednesday also ordered Miki Victoria Sudo to pay $1,240 in restitution for the incident on Sept. 11, 2010, the ninth anniversary of the terrorist attacks of 2001.
Passengers were removed at McCarran International Airport, and US Airways Flight 399 was searched. No explosive was found.
Sudo pleaded guilty in February to conveying false and misleading information.
