Man found shot to death in apartment identified
A person who went to pick a friend up for church on Sunday found that friend dead in his apartment, Las Vegas police said.
Officers responded Sunday to the Shelter Cove apartment complex, 2683 Decatur Blvd., after receiving a call about the discovery of a dead body.
A Clark County coroner's official said Monday that the deceased 38-year-old man, Esteban Meza Jr. of Las Vegas, died from a gunshot wound to the head.
His death, ruled as a homicide, is under investigation.
