Man gets probation in fatal stabbing

A 47-year-old man was sentenced Tuesday to three years' probation after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter for a May stabbing death .

Victor Angel Gonzalez was initially charged with murder with a deadly weapon for the slaying of Osman Dominguez-Vega, 41.

The two men had been drinking at an apartment at 1111 S. Casino Center Blvd., near Charleston Boulevard, when they fought over $20, a Las Vegas police report states. Both men were stabbed in the fight, but Dominguez-Vega died.
