Man killed in state Route 160 rollover identified

A 29-year-old Las Vegas man who died in a rollover accident Sunday about halfway between Pahrump and Las Vegas was identified as Antonio Colon on Monday by the Clark County coroner's office.

Nevada Highway Patrol trooper Loy Hixson said that at 6:47 a.m., the GMC pickup Colon was a passenger in lost control on southbound state Route 160, mile marker 26.

Hixson said Colon was ejected from the pickup after it went over a median into the northbound lanes, where it rolled over.

The other occupants in the pickup were unharmed.

Troopers suspected the driver was impaired under alcohol or drugs, Hixson said.

The driver submitted to a blood test, but Hixson was unaware of the results as of Monday afternoon.
