Man shot inside North Las Vegas casino identified

The Clark County coroner has identified the man fatally shot Monday morning inside a local casino as 31-year-old Kevin Lavert Jones Jr.

Jones was shot after a dispute inside the Lucky Club Casino at 3227 Civic Center Drive, near Interstate 15. He died at University Medical Center.

Shonta Hammond, 35, was arrested and booked into the Las Vegas Detention Center on murder charges.
