Man wounded in northeast Las Vegas shooting

An altercation between two men led to a shooting Monday morning near Nellis and Las Vegas Boulevards.
Police were called to the scene of Terrace Apartments about 1 a.m. on reports of shots fired, where they found a 23-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to University Medical Center. He was in stable condition Monday morning.
Officer Jose Hernandez said officers have a description of the suspect. The department's gang units will be conducting follow-up investigations.
Another shooting that wounded a 21-year-old man happened at the same apartment complex on July 19.
