Mother runs over, kills her baby daughter
An 18-month-old baby died after she was run over by her mother in Kingman, Ariz., on Wednesday.
Kingman police Capt. Rusty Cooper said the 25-year-old woman was unaware her daughter had left the residence as she began to back her Chrysler sedan out of the garage about 8 p.m.
He said Loralai Gambrel was fatally injured in the driveway and died later at Kingman Regional Medical Center.
Cooper said that the mother was making a pizza run and that her daughter ventured to the garage area hoping to ride along. He said no charges are expected.
