North Las Vegas court matches schedule to city’s

The North Las Vegas Municipal Court is ringing in the new year with a new schedule.

The court, which previously was open Tuesday through Friday, now will operate Monday through Thursday. The court's hours will remain the same: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The new days of operation began this week.

The change brings the court's days of operation in line with the city's. City offices are closed on Fridays.

The change was meant to improve efficiency and save the city money in maintenance and other costs, said Debbie Miller, court administrator.
