A 38-year-old man who was killed in a double shooting Monday in North Las Vegas was identified on Wednesday.
Lloyd Smith was shot and killed about 5:20 a.m. at an industrial center in the 3800 block of Civic Center Drive near Gowan Road, just east of Interstate 15.
A 20-year-old man was wounded in the shooting. He is expected to survive.
North Las Vegas police said Smith arrived to work in the same vehicle as the 20-year-old man and a third man.
As the men exited the vehicle, they were approached by at least one suspect. One suspect began firing and struck two of the men. The third was uninjured.
Investigators believe the suspect or suspects fled in a light-colored Dodge Charger with a thick dark racing stripe down the center of the vehicle.
The incident was the third slaying in North Las Vegas this year.
