A pedestrian who was struck and killed while crossing the street Sunday morning was identified on Monday.
Amesquita Ventura, 60, was killed about 5 a.m. when she was hit by a car near Sahara Avenue and Arville Street.
Las Vegas police said the woman died at University Medical Center. She was in a crosswalk, but did not have the right of way, they said.
