Pedestrian killed in Strip hit-and-run identified
A pedestrian killed Monday in a hit-and-run accident on the Strip was identified Wednesday.
Authorities said Paul Windle, 66, was outside a marked crosswalk about 5:30 a.m. at Las Vegas Boulevard South and Harmon Avenue when he was struck by a late-model Chevrolet pickup.
The truck was found late Monday in the parking garage of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. It's unclear if police have arrested anyone in the accident.
