Pedestrian killed in Sunday crash identified

The Clark County coroner's office has identified the pedestrian killed Sunday afternoon after being hit by a truck in a residential driveway as 46-year-old Leonardo Valdes.

The pickup was headed west on Hacienda Avenue, near Pecos Road, when it crossed into oncoming traffic lanes.

It struck Valdes and two others in the driveway of 3495 E. Hacienda Ave. about 2:45 p.m. Valdes died at the scene.

The driver, 76-year-old Rogelio Nunez of Las Vegas, also struck 68-year-old Peggy Patten and 58-year-old Morris Dobard, both of Las Vegas.

Nunez and his passenger, Elisa Nunez, 64, and the two other victims were all hospitalized with minor to moderate injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
