A 26-year-old man was arrested Thursday in connection with the shooting death of a 37-year-old man earlier this week, a Las Vegas police official said.
Homicide Lt. Ray Steiber said Jason Jones was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on a recommended charge of murder with a deadly weapon.
Police accuse Jones of fatally shooting Jaime Corona, whose body was discovered Sunday night at 10:38 p.m. at an apartment complex on the 1400 block of F Street, near Owens Avenue.
Corona, from Las Vegas, died from a gunshot wound to the chest, the Clark County coroner's office said.
Steiber said the motive for the slaying was a "personal dispute" between Jones and Corona.
