Police: Florida man indicted for exploiting juveniles, including Nye County girl

A 31-year-old Florida man was indicted on federal charges last week related to exploitation and cyberstalking of several girls, including one from Southern Nevada, according to a statement from the Nye County Sheriff's Office released Monday.

Christopher Gunn, from Walton County, Fla., was indicted May 15 on multiple charges involving possession of images of girls in "various states of undress, naked and engaging in sexually explicit conduct," the sheriff's office statement read.

Gunn was recently arrested in Montgomery, Ala.

Nye County officials said that in December 2009 they took a report of a girl who was contacted by Gunn on the Internet. Gunn later obtained images of the juvenile in various states of undress.

Nye County officials worked with Florida officials, who worked with the FBI in the investigation. Gunn is alleged to have victimized 11 girls ranging in ages from 13 to 17. The girls live throughout the country.
