Prospect Airport Services settles harassment claim

Prospect Airport Services agreed to pay $75,000 to settle a decade-old sexual harassment claim.

According to a complaint filed in U.S. District Court in 2005, a male Prospect employee at McCarran International Airport received unwanted advances from a female co-worker in 2002. The previous year, the male employee's wife had died.

According to the complaint, brought by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the company did not take steps to stop the advances when they were brought to management's attention.
