Suspect indicted in 2011 shooting outside strip club

A gang-related shooting death last year outside a strip club resulted Friday in a Clark County grand jury returning an indictment against Terrell Lamount Durr .

Durr, 27, was charged with murder with use of a deadly weapon with the intent to assist a criminal gang in the Nov. 27 shooting death of Robert Turman.

According to police, Turman, 23, was shot about 4:45 a.m. outside the Deja Vu club in the 4740 block of Arville Street near Tropicana Avenue, west of the Strip. He was standing in the club's valet parking area after being asked to leave following an altercation.

Another man who appeared to have no connection to the men in the altercation was shot in the foot.

Durr also was charged in the indictment with attempted murder and battery with use of a deadly weapon in that shooting.

The indictment alleges that Durr, who is in custody and also facing unrelated burglary charges, is affiliated with the Donna Street Crips.

District Judge Linda Bell ordered him held on no bail.
