Teen killed in Friday crash named

A teen killed Friday after a sport utility vehicle overturned on Interstate 15 near Mesquite has been identified by the Clark County coroner's office as Stephanie Rodriguez, 16, from Spanish Fork, Utah. Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene after she was thrown from the vehicle.

The Nevada Highway Patrol said three adults and three children were injured also in the crash of a 2003 Chevrolet Blazer that was traveling south when it rolled into the median about 7 p.m. near mile marker 102.

The highway patrol said 40-year-old Sonia Rodriguez was driving the Blazer when its left rear tire lost air and caused the roll over.

All the passengers were from Spanish Fork. None of the adults listed in the crash has died, the Clark County coroner's office said Wednesday. The conditions of the minors were unknown Wednesday.
