Togliatti to serve second term as chief District Court judge

District Judge Jennifer Togliatti will serve a second two-year term as chief judge of the Eighth Judicial District after being unanimously re-elected by her peers, a court spokeswoman said.

"It has been a tremendous honor and privilege to serve as the chief judge and I am proud of our judges and their staff for their ability to stretch resources and do more with less," the judge said in a prepared statement.

Togliatti was appointed to the Eighth Judicial District Court in 2002 after serving on the Las Vegas Justice Court bench since 1998.
