Two shot, possibly by same bullet, near Charleston and Decatur

Las Vegas police are investigating whether the same bullet that struck a man in the hand also wounded a woman in the head.

Officer Bill Cassell says the shooting happened a little before 3 a.m. Monday at a residence near Charleston and Decatur boulevards.

The woman was hospitalized in critical condition with what Cassell called a life-threatening wound. Her name wasn't immediately made public.

Cassell says at least one shot was fired while the man who was wounded argued with the gunman.
