A woman is dead and her boyfriend is in custody after a stabbing Sunday near Maryland Parkway and Silverado Ranch Boulevard.
Las Vegas police were called to a house on Silver Knoll Avenue about 11:30 p.m.
Family members said a fight broke out while the couple were at a birthday party at the victim’s mother’s home.
The victim is described as a woman in her 40s with four children. Police say her boyfriend has been arrested.
