Woman killed in apparent murder-suicide identified
The woman killed by her ex-husband in Henderson Tuesday afternoon has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.
Renee Bassett, 47, was shot in her home in the 100 block of Andada Drive after an argument with her ex-husband around 5:30 p.m., according to Henderson police.
The man was later found dead in his car outside the home from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. His identity has not yet been released by the coroner’s office.
The woman’s death is the first slaying in the police’s jurisdiction.
