Woman who died in house fire identified
A woman who died in a house fire on Melody Rose Avenue Wednesday has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.
Carolyn Zwierzynski, 60, died after her condominium near Smoke Ranch Road and Torrey Pines Drive went up in flames.
Firefighters responded to the blaze and extracted Zweirzynski from the residence, according to the Las Vegas Fire Department.
She was taken to University Medical Center and pronounced dead a couple of hours later.
A roommate was displaced by the fire, which caused about $60,000 in damage.
