Woman’s body found in trash bin
A dead woman found in a trash bin earlier this week has been identified.
Josephine Butler, 28, was found in the northeast valley, Las Vegas police said.
It is unclear how she was killed.
Police said Butler died from “non-natural causes,” but the Clark County coroner’s office has not determined the cause.
Police did not disclose the death until Friday.
According to news reports, Butler was found in a duffle bag by an employee of a business near Craig Road and Las Vegas Boulevard North.
Homicide detectives were investigating.
