Man arrested after burglary at North Las Vegas shoe store

A North Las Vegas shoe store was burglarized early Wednesday morning, and police arrested a man found on the roof of the business.
A motion alarm inside WSS, a shoe store at 2209 E. Lake Mead Blvd., near Civic Center Drive, was activated about 2:50 a.m, North Las Vegas police spokeswoman Ann Cavaricci said.
When officers responded, a man was inside the business attempting to make his way out onto the roof, the same way he entered, Cavaricci said.
The business was damaged because the man entered and exited from the roof, police said.
He will be booked at the Las Vegas Detention Center on charges of burglary and obstruction, Cavaricci said.
