6 flags you might see during Pride and what they mean

Las Vegas’ 17th annual Pride Night Parade will get going around 7 p.m. Friday night, turning downtown Las Vegas into a place for celebration of the valley’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.

Participants come from all over the valley holding banners, signs and flags to represent their groups, while the crowd participates with signage of their own. But not everyone holds a rainbow flag during Pride events, so here are what some of those flags represent:
