‘A Flair For Care’ a sold-out event

Designer Roland Mouret’s fall 2013 collection was featured during Neiman Marcus’ 13th annual “A Flair For Care” fashion show and luncheon May 13 at Wynn Las Vegas.

The sold-out affair, which has raised more than $6 million over the years, benefits the nonprofit Nathan Adelson Hospice.

The morning reception allowed time for guests to look over the 49 items on display offered as prizes for the purchase of $25 opportunity tickets.

Gold $100 opportunity tickets offered 51 over-the-top items.

Platinum tickets went for $250, and included a Bvlgari Mediterranean Eden necklace in 18 karat gold with amethyst and peridot beads and pave diamonds.

There also was a one-night stay in a penthouse suite at The Venetian, dinner for two at Cut and two tickets for “Rock of Ages.”

The $500 diamond opportunity ticket was the grand prize package of the evening.

The winner and a guest were flown by private jet to Los Angeles to attend the recent finale of “Dancing with the Stars.”

The prize also included lodging at the Peninsula Beverly Hills Hotel and dinner at Spago.

“A Flair For Care” was chaired by Susan Molasky, Jane Schorr, Beth Weinberger and Sharon Jenkins.

During the program, Molasky introduced Heidi Sarno Straus, who spoke eloquently about the aid and compassion the hospice gave to her family members.

The Dream Foundation was thanked for its contribution of $1 million to Nathan Adelson Hospice.

Mouret attended the luncheon and presentation of his fashion designs, which featured predominantly displayed zippers and a draped look of fabrics rather than form-fitting presentation.

Seen enjoying the luncheon were Lovee Arum, Dena duBoef, Donna duBoef, Vicky Fertitta, Susan Sullivan, Elaine Wynn, Gloria Fine, Lynn Weidner, Bill Terry, Flora Mason, Shirley Biegger, Wendy Plaster, Jodi Fonfa, Abbie Goldstein, Nancy Houssels, Janice Allen, Phyllis Schwartz, Carole Fisher, Shelley Berkley, Michael Shulman and Priscilla Schwartz-Hodes.

Other luncheon guests included Barbara Stout, Rose Rogers, Sandee Tiberti, Bonnie Bryan, Parvin Modaber Jacobs, Linda Givens, Caty Crockett, Daryl Sullivan, Audrey Fredericks, Jodi Hale, Suzanne Lofgren, Terrie Hecker, Julie Gleason, Paige Gross, Linda Chambliss and Peggy Sanders.
