FIBER ARTS GUILD

The Southern Nevada Handweavers and Spinners Guild/Fiber Arts Guild will meet at 9:15 a.m. Saturday at the Blind Center, 1001 N. Bruce St. The topic will be sewing with leftover handwoven fabrics (642-3412).

PINOCHLE CLUB

The Las Vegas Pinochle Club meets at 5 p.m. Saturdays at Boulder Cascade Clubhouse. The group is open to new members (338-5770).

WOMEN'S GROUP

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority meets at 11 a.m. the first Saturday of each month at Sunrise Library, 5400 Harris Ave. (263-9718).

VETERANS GROUPS

The U.S. Navy Cruiser Sailors Association will have a luncheon meeting at noon Friday at Boulder Station, 4111 Boulder Highway. All Naval and Marine personnel may attend. Reservations are needed (242-2792).

The Jewish War Veterans of the USA, Sgt. Manny Peven Post 65, meets at 9:30 a.m. the first Sunday of each month at the clubhouse at Wildhorse Golf Club, 2200 W. Warm Springs Road, Henderson. A brunch is served (307-5306).

CHICAGO CLUB

The Chicago West Side Club of Las Vegas meets at 2 p.m. the first Sunday of each month at Sahara West Library, 9600 W. Sahara Ave. (369-5698).
