HUMAN RIGHTS CAMPAIGN

The Human Rights Campaign will sponsor its second annual gala dinner at 6 p.m. Saturday at Caesars Palace Convention Center, 3570 Las Vegas Blvd. South, to build awareness of and stop discrimination against gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people. The speaker will be Judy Shepard, executive director of the Matthew Shepard Foundation. A VIP reception will begin at 5 p.m. (800-494-8497).

TOASTMASTERS

The Valley Voices & Vices Toastmasters Club meets at 7:30 a.m. Fridays at Nevada Federal Credit Union, Suite C, 2645 S. Mojave Road (454-8266).

The High Noon Lectern Toastmasters Club meets at noon Fridays at Denny's, 3081 S. Maryland Parkway (798-3700).

CHICAGO CLUB

The Chicago West Side Club of Las Vegas meets at 2 p.m. the first Sunday of each month at Sahara West Library, 9600 W. Sahara Ave. (369-5698).

STAMP CLUB

The Southern Nevada Stamp Club meets at 7 p.m. the first and third Friday of each month at Atria Sutton, 3185 E. Flamingo Road (839-1694).

AMERICAN BUSINESS WOMEN'S ASSOCIATION

The Drifting Dunes Chapter of the American Business Women's Association will meet at 11 a.m. Saturday at Jackson's Bar & Grill, 6020 W. Flamingo Road. Reservations are required (878-9043).

AARP

The AARP Chapter 1189 will meet at 11 a.m. Friday at Royal Oaks Mobile Home Park clubhouse for a potluck lunch, 5300 E. Desert Inn Road (641-2191).

SONS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION

The Signers Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution meets at 8 a.m. on the first Saturday of each month for breakfast at Denny's, 3081 S. Maryland Parkway (243-8205).

HANDWEAVER AND SPINNERS/FIBER ARTS GUILD

The Southern Nevada Handweaver and Spinners/Fiber Arts Guild will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Blind Center, 1001 N. Bruce St. (642-3412).

IKENOBO IKEBANA SOCIETY

The Ikenobo Ikebana Society Nevada Chapter will have a Japanese flower arranging workshop from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Whitney Library, 5175 E. Tropicana Ave. (655-2447).
