ROCK THE WALK

Rock the Walk, a concert to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walk to Cure Diabetes, will begin at 5 p.m. Friday at the Las Vegas Springs Preserve, 333 S. Valley View Blvd. (732-4795).

TOASTMASTERS

The Valley Voices & Vices Toastmasters Club meets at 7:30 a.m. Fridays at Nevada Federal Credit Union, Suite C, 2645 S. Mojave Road (454-8266).

The High Noon Lectern Toastmasters Club meets at noon Fridays at Denny's, 3081 S. Maryland Parkway (798-3700).

The Jackpot Speakers Toastmasters Club meets at 1 p.m. the second and fourth Sunday of each month at Sahara West Library, 9600 W. Sahara Ave. (647-8038).

STAMP CLUB

The Southern Nevada Stamp Club meets at 7 p.m. the first and third Friday of each month at Atria Sutton, 3185 E. Flamingo Road (839-1694).

MERCHANT MARINE

The Merchant Marine High Rollers Chapter of the AMMV will meet at 11 a.m. Friday at the West Flamingo Senior Center, 6255 W. Flamingo Road (732-1369).

HALLOWEEN EVENT

Daughters of the Nile will have a haunted house, costume party and spaghetti dinner from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday at 2200 Mesquite Ave. The party will include games, a pumpkin maze and cake walk, among other activities. The event is a fundraiser for Shriners Children's Hospitals (645-7795).

CITIZENS FOR PATIENT DIGNITY

The Citizens for Patient Dignity will meet at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the West Sahara Library, 9600 W. Sahara Ave. (254-2578).

HUMANIST ASSOCIATION

The Humanist Association of Las Vegas and Southern Nevada will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Las Vegas Library, 833 Las Vegas Blvd. North (258-1587).

WALK FOR HOPE

The third annual breast cancer Walk For Hope will begin at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the MonteLago Village at Lake Las Vegas in Henderson, 15 Via Brianza (567-9890).
