NEVADA TAVERN OWNERS ASSOCIATION

The Nevada Tavern Owners Association meets at 4 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month at Blue Ox Tavern, 5825 W. Sahara Ave. (839-9006).

NEWCOMERS CLUBS

Westside Newcomers Club, a social club for women who have lived in the valley five years or less, offers a variety of activities, including a New Member Coffee for new and prospective members the first Wednesday of the month (645-3426).

TOASTMASTERS

The Chamber Voices Toastmasters Club meets at 11:30 a.m. the first and third Wednesday of each month at the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, 3720 Howard Hughes Parkway (312-2048).

The Schoolhouse Toasters Toastmasters Club meets at 4:30 p.m. the first and third Wednesday of each month at Roundtable Pizza, 7460 W. Lake Mead Blvd. (656-7888).

HEALTH FAIR

A free Senior Healthfair will take place 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday at Country Club at Valley View, 1400 S. Valley View Blvd. There will be screenings, information about Medicare and other health topics and services (258-1121)

BARBERSHOP CHORUS

The Gamble-Aires, a recreational chapter of the national Barbershop Harmony Society, rehearses at 7 p.m. Thursdays at the Church of Scientology, 2751 Emerson Ave. The group is open to new members and guests (463-2674).

FUNDRAISER

The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation will host its "Ride Around the World Dinner" fundraiser Friday at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, 1451 Center Crossing Road. A silent auction and reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30. The cost is $95. Reservations are required (795-2000).
