The AARP Summerlin Chapter 5094 meets at 6:30 p.m. Mondays at the Sahara West Library, 9600 W. Sahara Ave. A teacher with the AARP Driver Safety Program will explain how to get an auto insurance discount and how to avoid problems on the roadways. The event is open to the public (255-0552).

TOASTMASTERS

The Premier Toastmasters Club meets at 6 p.m. Mondays at Gordon Biersch, 750 S. Rampart Blvd. (222-1436).

Toastmasters en Espanol Club meets at 7 p.m. Mondays at Cambridge Community Center, 3900 Cambridge St. (951-9454).

The Sourcer-ers Toastmasters Club meets at 7:15 p.m. the second and fourth Monday of the month at Green Valley Library, 2797 N. Green Valley Parkway, Henderson (296-8665).

JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER

The Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada offers singles programs for adults of all ages. Jewish singles meet the fourth Wednesday of each month at Rave Motion Pictures, 6587 Las Vegas Blvd. South. Jewish singles age 60 and older meet for dinner at various locations the last Thursday of the month in Summerlin (794-0090).

SENIORS GROUP

The Society of Single Seniors and Widowed Persons will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Cambridge Recreation Center, 3930 Cambridge St. Participants should bring a salad or dessert (454-1353).

SINGLES TRAVEL CLUB

The Las Vegas Singles Travel and Social Club, for people 55 and older interested in local and world travel, meets at 6:30 p.m. the second and fourth Monday of each month at the Tap House, 5589 W. Charleston Blvd. (888-324-2028).

WOMENS GROUP

Beta Sigma Phi City Council will have a combined meeting of chapter presidents and vice presidents at 7 p.m. Monday at the Donald W. Reynolds Girl Scout Center, 2941 Harris Ave. (270-2546).

CANCER SCREENINGS

St. Rose Dominican Hospital offers free breast cancer screenings and services to uninsured and underinsured women ages 40 and younger (616-7525).

ITALIAN AMERICAN CLUB

The Italian American Club of Las Vegas will host a special charity benefit Friday at 2333 E. Sahara Ave. A no-host bar will be offered beginning at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30 and a performance by Wes Winters at 8. Tickets are $27.50 (457-3866).
