GOLF CLASSIC
The Faith Lutheran Junior-Senior High School 2008 annual Golf Classic will take place Friday at Palm Valley Las Vegas in Sun City Summerlin, 9201 Del Webb Blvd. The cost is $275 per person or $1,100 per foursome and includes breakfast, tee gifts and awards luncheon. BENEFIT
Executive chef Heinz Lauer of Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Las Vegas will present the Ride Around the World cooking class to benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. The class will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at 1451 Center Cross Road and will feature contemporary and traditional cooking techniques. The cost is $150. Reservations are required (851-5373).

St. Rose Dominican Hospital offers free breast cancer screenings and services to uninsured and underinsured women ages 40 and younger (616-7525).
