CASINO COLLECTIBLES CLUB

RPEN MEETING

The Las Vegas Chapter of the Retired Public Employees of Nevada will meet at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the American Legion, 733 Veterans Memorial Drive. Representatives from the state insurance program of the Public Employees' Benefit Program will speak. The meeting is open to the public (256-9764).

GARDEN CLUBS

The Las Vegas Chrysanthemum Society will present a program with horticulturist and Review-Journal gardening columnist Linn Mills at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Nevada Garden Clubs Center in Lorenzi Park, 3300 W. Washington Ave. Reservations are requested (459-4633).

The Sunset Garden Club will meet at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Sunset Room at the Green Valley Library, 2797 N. Green Valley Parkway, Henderson. After a short business meeting, carpools will leave for a field trip to Turner Greenhouse Nursery. The meeting is open to the public (434-7212).

BACKGAMMON CLUB

The Las Vegas Backgammon Club meets at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at Jackson's Bar & Grill, 6020 W. Flamingo Road (458-0926).

WOMEN'S GROUP

The Laureate Chi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Colleen Slaughter (873-3428).

PROGRESSIVE SOCIAL GROUP

The Henderson Chapter of Drinking Liberally, an informal, left-leaning progressive social group that talks politics, meets at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at The Gin Mill, 2561 Windmill Parkway, Henderson (460-0973).

PARADISE SERTOMA

Las Vegas Paradise Sertoma promotes public awareness of the needs of deaf and hearing impaired people, and provides scholarships for deaf students. The group meets at 12:15 p.m. Tuesdays at Denny's, 3081 S. Maryland Parkway (384-2315, 878-0043).

BRIDGE CLUBS

Bridge World II meets at 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at Charleston Heights Arts Center, 800 S. Brush St. (735-3114).

The Spring Mountain Bridge Club meets at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 450 S. Buffalo Drive, No. 104 (278-8614).

TOASTMASTERS

SENIORS GROUPS

The Society of Single Seniors and Widowed Persons will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Monterey Room at The Orleans, 4800 W. Flamingo Road. Reservations are requested (362-0296).

The Senior Tripsters meet at 1 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at the Las Vegas Senior Center, 451 E. Bonanza Road (387-0007).

Senior Women's Softball, for those 40 to 80-plus, meets year-round for recreational and tournament play (251-9784).
