GARDEN CLUB
The Las Vegas Chrysanthemum Society will have its monthly meeting at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Nevada Garden Club Center in Lorenzi Park, 3333 W. Washington Ave. The program will focus on spraying for bugs, fertilizing and cutting back mums. The group is open to new members (459-4633).
RPEN MEETING
The Las Vegas Chapter of Retired Public Employees of Nevada will meet at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the American Legion, 733 Veterans Memorial Drive. Installation of chapter officers for 2008-09 will take place. The meeting is open to the public (256-9764).
WOODTURNERS CLUB
The Las Vegas Woodturners Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Woodworkers Emporium, 5461 Arville St. Woodturning demonstrations with hands-on experience is given for all skill levels (655-3832).

PROGRESSIVE SOCIAL GROUP
The Henderson Chapter of Drinking Liberally, an informal, left-leaning progressive social group that talks politics, meets at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at The Gin Mill, 2561 Windmill Parkway, Henderson (460-0973).
PARADISE SERTOMA
Las Vegas Paradise Sertoma promotes public awareness of the needs of deaf and hearing impaired people, and provides scholarships for deaf students. The group meets at 12:15 p.m. Tuesdays at Denny's, 3081 S. Maryland Parkway (384-2315, 878-0043).
BRIDGE CLUBS
