SINGLES TRAVEL CLUB

The Las Vegas Singles Travel and Social Club, for people 55 and older interested in local and world travel, meets at 6:30 p.m. the second and fourth Monday of each month at the Tap House, 5589 W. Charleston Blvd. (888-324-2028).

BENEFIT

The Las Vegas Host Lions Club will have its annual Golf Classic on Saturday at the Palm Valley Golf Club-Sun City Summerlin, 9201 Del Webb Blvd. Funds raised will benefit the Lions SightFirst Foundation, which provides free eye examinations, eyeglasses and surgeries to needy Clark County schoolchildren and disadvantaged adults; the Lions Burn Center at University Medical Center; Camp Dat-So-Lalee for disadvantaged children; and other charities supporting sight conservation in the area. BREAST CANCER CLASSES

The Breast Center at Sunrise offers classes in yoga, meditation, nutrition and other topics throughout the month at 3600 S. Maryland Parkway, Suite 250 (784-7870).

CANCER SCREENINGS

St. Rose Dominican Hospital offers free breast cancer screenings and services to uninsured and underinsured women ages 40 and younger (616-7525).

Mammovan for Nevada offers free mammograms to low-income women age 40 and older in the Las Vegas area. Appointments are necessary (877-581-6266).
