CONSERVATIVE GROUPS

The Coalition for a Conservative Majority will have a Meet and Greet Candidates event from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Marie Callender's, 4800 S. Eastern Ave. The meeting is open to the public and all candidates. Reservations are required (882-3786).

The Nevada Council of Conservative Citizens will have its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the International Language Room at Sahara West Library, 9600 W. Sahara Ave. Illegal immigration will be the topic.

PROGRESSIVE SOCIAL GROUP

The Henderson Chapter of Drinking Liberally, an informal, left-leaning progressive social group that talks politics, meets at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at The Gin Mill, 2561 Windmill Parkway in Henderson (460-0973).

BACKGAMMON CLUB

The Las Vegas Backgammon Club meets at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at Jackson's Bar & Grill, 6020 W. Flamingo Road (458-0926).

PARADISE SERTOMA

Las Vegas Paradise Sertoma promotes public awareness of the needs of deaf and hearing impaired people, and provides scholarships for deaf students. The group meets at 12:15 p.m. Tuesdays at Denny's, 3081 S. Maryland Parkway (384-2315, 878-0043).

BRIDGE CLUBS

Bridge World II meets at 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at Charleston Heights Arts Center, 800 S. Brush St. (735-3114).

The Spring Mountain Bridge Club meets at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 450 S. Buffalo Drive, No. 104 (278-8614).

TOASTMASTERS

The Pyramid Power Talkers Toastmasters Club meets at 5:45 p.m. Tuesdays at Luxor, 3900 Las Vegas Blvd. South (262-4806).

The Early Eagles Toastmasters Club meets at 7:30 a.m. the first and third Tuesday of each month at the Center for Compassionate Care at Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4131 Swenson St. (432-3787).

The Say Watt Toastmasters Club meets at noon the first and third Tuesday of each month at Nevada Power, 6226 W. Sahara Ave. (367-5624).
