JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER
The Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada offers singles programs for adults of all ages. Jewish singles age 60 and older meet for dinner at various locations the third Wednesday of the month in Henderson and the last Thursday of the month in Summerlin (794-0090).
BENEFIT
The Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation and The Torino Foundation will host their Spectacular Evening at 5:30 Thursday at the Torino Foundatiaon and Museum, 4455 Wagon Trail. The event will feature a tour of multimillion dollar muscle cars, a collection of ancient Tibetan art, a full-size antique carousel, treasures from underwater galleons, and a variety of art and collectibles. Tickets are $300 per person. Proceeds will benefit programs and services for critically ill children (735-8434).
GOLF
Golden Retriever Rescue of Southern Nevada will host its "Golden Day of Golf" at 7:30 a.m. Saturday at Silverstone Golf Club, 8600 Cupp Drive. Cost is $125 per person or $400 per foursome and includes a barbecue awards luncheon and prizes. Registration is required (598-4653).
MEMBERSHIP DRIVE

CANCER SCREENINGS
St. Rose Dominican Hospital offers free breast cancer screenings and services to uninsured and underinsured women ages 40 and younger (616-7525).
Mammovan for Nevada offers free mammograms to low-income women age 40 and older in the Las Vegas area. Appointments are necessary (877-581-6266).
