LECTURE

"Electronic Music, Art and Society" will be presented by professor Craig T. Walsh of the University of Arizona at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Doc Rando Hall, Beam Music Center at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, 4505 S. Maryland Parkway. The lecture offers an overview of the history of electronic, electro-acoustic and computer music and its social impact. Admission is free (895-3401).

BACKGAMMON CLUB

PROGRESSIVE SOCIAL GROUP

PARADISE SERTOMA

Las Vegas Paradise Sertoma promotes public awareness of the needs of deaf and hearing impaired people, and provides scholarships for deaf students. The group meets at 12:15 p.m. Tuesdays at Denny's, 3081 S. Maryland Parkway (384-2315, 878-0043).

BRIDGE CLUBS

Bridge World II meets at 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at Charleston Heights Arts Center, 800 S. Brush St. (735-3114).

FUNDRAISER

The Sisters Network, Las Vegas Chapter, an affiliate of the National African American Breast Cancer Survivor's Organization, will have its seventh annual "Gift for Life" Block Walk from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday in Doolittle Park, 1940 N.
