GANG PREVENTION TRAINING
Drug Abuse Resistance Education officers and the Southern Nevada Community Gang Task Force Gang Prevention Subcommittee will offer training regarding their "Parents Handbook on Gangs" as follows: 9-11 a.m. Wednesday at Griffith Elementary School, 324 Essex Drive; 4-6 p.m. Jan. 29 at Vegas Verdes Elementary School, 4000 El Parque Ave.; and 8-10 a.m. and 3-5 p.m. Feb. 7 at Wendell Williams Elementary School, 1030 J St. (828-3394).
