SIGNINGS

Cork Proctor and Carolyn Hamilton will sign "My Mind is An Open Mouth" at 2 p.m. today at Barnes & Noble, 2191 N. Rainbow Blvd.

Paula Garriott will sign "Signature Tastes of Las Vegas" at 1 p.m. Saturday at Barnes & Noble, 2191 N. Rainbow Blvd.

Lisa Jackson will celebrate the launch of her new book "You Don't Want to Know" with a signing at 6 p.m. Monday at Barnes & Noble, 8915 W. Charleston Blvd. At the event, author Nancy Bush will also be signing her book "Nowhere to Run" (242-1987).

EVENTS

The Brown Bag Book Club meets at 11 a.m. the second Thursday of the month at the Laughlin Library, 2840 S. Needles Highway.

Centennial Hills Readers Circle meets at 10:30 a.m. the first Tuesday of each month at Centennial Hills Library, 6711 N. Buffalo Drive.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

The Henderson Writers Group meets at 6 p.m. Mondays. The group meets at Community Lutheran Church, 3720 E. Tropicana Ave. on the first Monday of the month, and meets at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in the Running Rebel Plaza, 4550 S. Maryland Parkway on the remaining Mondays.
